An Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with 10 years of programmatic and litigation experience. Janet specializes in women’s land and property rights, division of matrimonial, family law, and children’s rights. She is also deeply engaged in pro bono representation of survivors of sexual and gender-based violence. As a Certified Public Mediator, Janet is skilled in Alternative Dispute Resolution and is part of the African Feminist Litigation Network. Her work reflects a strong passion for justice, equality, and social change.
